Our certification system automatically checks for compliance with the conditions required to maintain the certificate’s status throughout its validity period. If the website is no longer hosted in an environment powered exclusively by renewable energy sources, the certificate status will be adjusted accordingly. These measures ensure the credibility and authenticity of our certificate. Another aspect of the digital certificate is a web banner intended for your digital documents and as an extended signature in your email.

The physical form of the certificate includes a printed version made from carefully selected materials. For example, the certificate itself is printed on special recycled eco-friendly paper. The accompanying letter not only uses this paper but also contains seeds designed to further reduce the carbon footprint of the process. Additionally, the chosen seeds are for plants that provide food for bees.

The green analysis is a key component of every digITgreen certificate. This analysis involves a critical evaluation of various aspects of your web solution and the environment from which it is distributed. Depending on the selected certificate package, your website is analyzed with varying levels of detail and frequency. Based on this, feedback and reports are generated accordingly. The results of the green analysis also determine whether a particular website meets the criteria for certification and in which certification level it falls.

Through the results of the green analysis, it is possible, depending on the certificate level, to obtain a concrete assessment showing the CO2 emissions that visitors produce while browsing your website. At the highest certification level, the green analysis can identify the carbon hotspots of your website, which can then be addressed to effectively reduce CO2 emissions and help you achieve sustainability goals.
